Terms of use
In force since September 1, 2026
This is an agreement between you and Learning Horizons Hub LLC (State of New York, USA) — hereafter “we” — on the use of the Litecta service at litecta.com and its subdomains. By using the service you accept these terms.
1. What we provide
Litecta is a service in which you build and run your own website: a portfolio, pages, an inquiry form and a simple CRM. We are responsible for keeping the service running, updated and for storing your data. Hosting, security certificates and backups are on our side and do not need to be bought separately.
2. Who may use it
Access is currently granted by invitation. An account is personal: the invitation link is single-use and intended for one specific person. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your login.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
3. Your content stays yours
The photographs, texts, inquiries and any other data you upload belong to you. We acquire no rights over them and do not use them in our own advertising without your separate permission.
You grant us only the technical licence without which the service cannot work: to store your files, to display them to visitors of your website, and to make resized copies of images and backup copies.
You confirm that you have the right to publish what you upload, including the consent of the people shown in the photographs to that publication.
4. What is not allowed
All sites share one domain, so what one of them publishes affects everyone. You may not post:
- material prohibited by law, including any sexual material involving minors;
- other people’s work presented as your own, or anything that infringes copyright;
- fraudulent pages, bulk mailings or malicious code;
- incitement to violence or hatred.
If we find any of this, we close the site without prior notice and tell you the reason. In every other case we warn you in advance.
5. Money
At first the site runs free of charge; we state the length of that period in the invitation. After that it is a subscription: $144 per year or $15 per month. Current prices are always on the pricing page.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on their page and are never passed to us. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it; you can cancel it yourself at any time, and it stays active until the end of the period already paid for.
We may change the price, but never for a period already paid for: a new price applies from the next renewal, and we will notify you by email at least 30 days beforehand.
Refunds have their own page: refunds.
6. What happens when the term ends
The public address closes: visitors see a short “site temporarily unavailable” page. Your account stays open, all data remains in place, and you can either export it or renew the subscription.
If the site has been closed for more than 30 days and you have not responded, we move it to the archive. This is not deletion: the data is kept, and the site comes back exactly as it was at your request. The subdomain stays reserved for you.
You can take your texts and photographs at any moment, including after the site has closed: write to us and we will collect everything into a file.
7. If you want to leave
You can cancel the subscription at any moment. You can also have the account and all its data deleted: write to us and we will do it within 30 days. Deletion is final and irreversible, so export whatever you want to keep first.
8. Our liability
We do everything we can to keep the service running without interruption, but we do not promise one hundred per cent availability: there are updates, provider outages and circumstances beyond our control. We give notice of planned work in advance.
We are not liable for your relationships with your own clients, for the content of your website, or for lost profit. In any event our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us over the preceding 12 months.
We do make backups, but we advise you to keep your own copy of important photographs: the originals of your shoots should not live in one place only, however reliable that place is.
9. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We will give notice of material changes by email at least 30 days in advance. If the new terms do not suit you, you may cancel the subscription before they take effect. The date of the latest revision is always shown at the top of this page.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the State of New York, USA. But write to us first: the great majority of questions are settled by email within a day.
11. Messages you send
Litecta provides a tool: it stores your client base, prepares drafts and shows you who to write to and when. You are the sender. Messages go from your own mailbox, under your name and with your signature. Litecta sends nothing on its own behalf and is not a party to your correspondence.
You decide who to contact, and you are responsible for complying with the rules of the country where the recipient is located. In several countries, Germany and Austria among them, sending commercial email without the recipient's prior consent is prohibited, including to company addresses.
We do not review the content of your messages and cannot confirm that consent exists. Claims, fines and demands arising from your outreach remain yours.
